Welcome to our Summer Cooking Camp!
We believe the kitchen is the best classroom in the world. Our hands-on summer cooking camps in Mississauga and Oakville are designed to get kids off screens and engaged in the real world. Children learn essential kitchen skills like knife safety, measuring, baking, and meal preparation in a highly supportive environment.
Whether your child is a complete beginner or already loves helping out at home, they'll spend the week cooking daily recipes from scratch, playing food science games, and building massive independence. Programs are designed for SK to Grade 7 students and run weekly from June 29 to August 28. (And the best part? Lunch and snacks are completely included!)

What age is COOKSMART cooking camp for?
Our Summer camp is designed for children ages 5 to 12 (SK to Grade 7). We group kids appropriately so they are using tools and tackling recipes suited to their developmental stage.
What do kids cook at camp?
Depending on the weekly theme, campers cook a variety of real meals from scratch, including homemade pasta, stir fry, fresh baking, global dishes, and balanced snacks.
Is lunch included?
Yes! We provide a nutritious vegetarian lunch and daily snacks for both full-day and half-day campers. You get a break from packing lunches! Note: If you send extra snacks, please ensure they are 100% nut-free.
Is this safe for kids with allergies?
We are highly allergy-aware and our kitchen environment is strictly nut-free. Just let us know your child's dietary restrictions on the registration form and we've got them covered.
What should my child bring?
Just a water bottle, a hat, indoor shoes, and an apron from home! We provide all the cooking supplies and ingredients.
Do kids use real knives?
Yes, kids use real, age-appropriate kitchen tools. Proper knife skills and kitchen safety are foundational parts of our curriculum, taught with strict, hands-on supervision by certified instructors.
