Are they ready to feed themselves?
It’s the biggest fear for parents of teens: sending them off to post-secondary and realizing they don't know how to cook a single nutritious meal. Relying on takeout and processed food drains their budget and ruins their energy levels. It’s time to teach them how to take ownership of their own health.
A Mature Environment for Real Skills
We treat them like young adults. Whether they are completely new to the kitchen or already experimenting with recipes, they will find their place here in a supportive, pressure-free space.
The Complete Beginner
Has never boiled water? Perfect. We teach foundational safety, measuring, and basic meals without any pressure or judgment.
The Aspiring Cook
Already loves cooking shows? We’ll challenge them with advanced knife skills, heat management, and complex flavour balancing.
The Independent
Preparing for part-time jobs or university? We teach them how to feed themselves nutritious, complete meals on a budget.

What Parents Are Saying
"My 15-year-old was totally opposed to going to a 'camp', but after the first day he came home so proud of the stir-fry he made. By Friday, he cooked dinner for the whole family. Unbelievable transformation."
"My daughter is heading to university next year and didn't know how to boil water. This program gave her so much confidence. I feel so much better knowing she can actually feed herself properly."
"The instructors treat them like young adults, not kids. They used real knives, real equipment, and learned how to clean up as they go. Highly recommend for any teen."

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you accommodate food allergies and dietary needs?
Yes. Our teen summer menu is strictly vegetarian, and our kitchen environment is nut-aware. We actively discuss and teach all food choices. Please list any specific allergies on your registration form.
Do teens need prior cooking experience?
Not at all! Our programs are designed for all skill levels, from complete beginners to teens who already cook at home. We teach core fundamentals so everyone can participate safely.
Is the teen cooking class hands-on?
Yes, 100% hands-on. Teens are actively chopping, mixing, sautéing, and cooking their own meals from start to finish under instructor guidance.
Will my teen learn knife skills?
Yes. Proper knife handling and kitchen safety are foundational to our teen programs. Instructors closely supervise and guide students through safe techniques.
What should my teen bring or wear?
Safety first! Teens must wear comfortable clothing, closed-toe shoes, and have long hair tied back. Please send them with a water bottle and an apron from home.
What is the instructor to student ratio?
We keep our teen classes very small, with a strict maximum of 8 students per class. This ensures every teen gets personalized instruction and hands-on support.
