Homemade Pizza

Homemade PIZZA DOUGH

• 2 tsp dry yeast

• 2 tsp sugar or honey

• 1/4 tsp salt

• 3/4 cup warm water

• 2 cups flour plus extra ½ cup

• 2 TBSP olive oil

• Sauce – tomato & seasonings

• Toppings – CHOOSE 3 or more

o Peppers, olive, pineapple, mushrooms, zucchini, tomato

o Ham, pepperoni, chicken,

• Cheese -mozzarella, cheddar, feta, goat, parmesan

1. Put warm water, sugar, salt and yeast into bowl.

2. Cover and put in warm place for 5-10 minutes or until mixture froths up.

3. Add oil to yeast mixture, and then pour into 2 cups of flour in large bowl. Mix until flour is all combined into a ragged dough.

4. Dust work space and hands with extra flour, and use flour to knead dough until smooth and, not sticky and finger mark springs back when pressed, about 4 minutes.

5. Cover and put in warm place for about 20 minutes or until doubled in size.

6. Divide dough if desired and flatten into pizza bases.

7. Preheat oven to 400F and add sauce, toppings and grated cheese all over pizza base.

8. Bake for 15-20 minutes until the center is as golden as edges.
