  • Cutting board

  • Measuring cups and spoons

  • Container with lid for storage

  • Cleaning cloth

  • Soapy water in sink


March 3: Powerballs

INGREDIENTS:

· 1 cups quick oats or Whole oats

· 1/2 cup Wow Butter (Soy peanut butter alternative – you can use your favourite Nut butter or seed better as you wish and depending on your allergies –Sunflower Seed butter is another good nut-free option)

· 1/4 cup liquid honey (or pure maple syrup for a variation)

· 1/4 cup raisins or dried fruits or coconut

· 1/4 cup chocolate chips or hemp hearts, seeds, nuts,

· 1/2 tsp Cinnamon or pumpkin spice

· 1/2 tsp vanilla

· Pinch of fine sea salt

March 3: Power Smoothies

INGREDIENTS:

Choose 2-3 fruits and 1 vegetable.

Think about the colour and flavours!

YELLOW: Banana, pineapple, mango

ORANGE: Orange, cantaloupe, carrot

RED: Strawberries, raspberries, red apple, Cherries

PURPLE: Blueberries, blackberries, purple grapes, beets

GREEN: Green apple, cucumber, kiwi fruit honey dew, kale or spinach

Liquids: Water, juice, milk (any type)

PROTEIN:

yogurt, nut butter, avocado, flaxseeds, hemp hearts, chia seeds, protein powder

Special TOOLS:

Blender

March 10

:

Breakfast Sandwiches

Ingredients:

1 egg ● Cheese ● Avocado ● Lettuce ● Mayo ● Hummus ● Tomato ● Roasted peppers (optional) ● Salt and Pepper to taste ● Bread or bun or english muffin

Special Tools:

Microwave safe mug

Toaster


March 24:
Perfect Pikelets

Perfect mini-pancakes to eat with your hands!

INGREDIENTS:

Flour

Sugar

Egg or apple sauce

Milk

baking powder

jam

cream or icing sugar

Fun Bits: Shredded Coconut, Hemp hearts, Chocolate chips
Icing sugar

Lemon

Special TOOLS:

Large measuring cup with a spout (optional)

Small frying pan or electric griddle

Spatula for flipping

Colander

March 31: Super Salads

INGREDIENTS:

Choose at least 3 veggies or fruits:

Green: lettuce, broccoli, celery, cucumber

Yellow: Yellow peppers, corn

Orange: Carrots, orange peppers

Red: Tomatoes, red peppers

Purple: Red cabbage

CHOOSE 1 Protein: Beans - black beans, kidney beans

Cheese- cheddar, feta, marble cheese

Dressings: Olive oil, lemon juice, salt and pepper, herbs (dill, oregano, basil, garlic powder)
