Measuring cups and spoons
Cleaning cloth

March 2: Breakfast Cookies
INGREDIENTS:
· · oatmeal -whole or quick oats
· flour
· ground flax seeds or chia seeds
· wheat germ or bran (optional)
· cinnamon
· baking soda
· dried cranberries or raisins
egg
butter or coconut oil
vanilla
apple sauce or mashed banana or fruit puree
Brown sugar or honey or maple syrup
· fun bits – choc chips
· seeds or nuts - Choose from hemp hearts, pumpkin seeds, walnuts, pecans or your favourite

March 9: Cinnamon Doughnuts
Ingredients:
·INGREDIENTS:
· flour
· sugar - white and brown sugar
· baking powder
- baking soda
· salt
Cinnamon
Nutmeg
vanilla
butter
Icing sugar
Milk
yogurt
1 egg - room temperature
Special TOOLS:
doughnut pan or muffin tin
pastry brush
piping bag - small plastic ziplock bag
March 23: Linzer Biscuits
INGREDIENTS:
· all-purpose flour
· salt
· 1/2 cup butter, room temperature or coconut oil
· granulated white sugar or honey
· almond extract (optional)
· 1 egg
· 1 tsp zest of lemon or orange
· Dusting: ¼ cup powdered sugar or monk fruit sweetener
· Filling: any flavor of jam, or lemon curd
Special TOOLS:
Baking sheet
Parchment paper or silicon mat
Rolling pin
Cookie cutters - large and small, mason jar lid and small heart or star
Sieve or colander for dusting
March 30: Hot Cross Buns
INGREDIENTS
· 3 cups all-purpose flour
· ¼ cup sugar
· 1 teaspoon salt
· 1 package instant yeast 1 packet = 2 and 1/4 teaspoons
· 3/4 cup milk
· 4 Tablespoons butter
· 1 large egg
· ½ cup raisins
· ¼ cup peel or chopped glazed cherries
· 1 orange, grate the rind for zest
· 2 tsp cinnamon
· ½ tsp all spice (or ½ tsp nutmeg and ¼ tsp cloves)
· ½ tsp cardamon (optional)
Icing sugar, water, apricot jam
