Sept 18:

Rainbow Plate

INGREDIENTS:

Choose your colours! Use Fruit & Veggies

Choose at least one each of:

Yellow: Bananas, pineapple, yellow pepper

Orange: Oranges, clementines, peaches, canteloupe, carrot

Red: Strawberries, apples, raspberries, watermelon, cherries, red pepper, radish

Purple: Grapes, Blueberries, raisins, red cabbage

Green: Grapes, kiwi, honeydew, lettuce, cucumber, green pepper, green onions, celery

White: Coconut, dragon fruit, kohlrabi

Add your favourites and one new fruit or veggie to try.

Dip - Choose your favourite one:

Yogurt - plain or flavoured or greek (for extra protein)

Hummus

Nut butter

Salad dressing

TOOLS:

Apron

Cutting board

Knife – cutlery knife

Fork, spoon

Medium plate

Small bowl for food waste

Plate

Cleaning cloth

Soapy water in sink

Sept 25:

Fruit Parfait (with chocolate sauce)

Ingredients:

Fresh fruits :

Blue or black berries • Apples • Mango • Strawberries • Kiwi

Yogurt :

Plain Greek yogurt • Vanilla yogurt

Toppings :

Raisins • Coconut flakes • Hemp hearts (for omega 3 fats) • Chocolate chips (dark chocolate for antioxidants) • Cinnamon or pumpkin spice • Granola or muesli or your favourite cereal

1 tsp Cocoa powder

1 TBSP Sugar

Water

Tools:

Apron

Cutting board

Knife – small plastic or cutlery knife

2 Small bowls

Spoon

Parfait glass - fancy glass or container

Plate or bowl

Cleaning cloth

Soapy water in sink
