Sweet & Savoury Biscuits
Choose to make either a sweet or savoury or double the recipe to make both!
INGREDIENTS:
flour - all purpose, some whole wheat (optional)
baking powder
salt
baking soda
milk - 2% or soy or almond milk
butter or margarine
1 egg per batch
CHOOSE : YOUR FLAVOURS
Sweet:
Fruity scones: Frozen berries (like raspberries or blueberries),
fresh lemon or lemon juice,
vanilla,
sugar - white or brown sugar, icing sugar for glaze
Treacle scones - molasses or treacle,
cinnamon, brown sugar
Savoury:
Herbs - garlic powder, dried oregano, dried basil, dried parsley or italian seasoning, chives,
butter - a bit more!
cheese - parmesan or cheddar (aged cheese)
TOOLS:
· Apron
· Cutting board
· Spoons
· 2 Cutlery knive
- medium bowl, 2 small bowls
· Food waste bowl

Fruit Parfaits
CHOOSE your favourites on hand to make a delicious and nutritious dessert or snack!
INGREDIENTS:
Fruit: Berries, banana, oranges, apple, pineapple, mango, kiwi, grapes, melon balls from
cantaloupe, honey dew or watermelon, pomegranate
*Make fruit noodles by grating hard fruits like apples, pears or chayote
Yogurt: Plain yogurt or Greek yogurt - flavour it with mushed fruit or honey & vanilla
Cereal: Muesli, granola, shredded wheat, cheerios, shreddies, crispie rice
Sprinkles: Cinnamon, hemp hearts, coconut, grated chocolate flakes
