January 11:

Mice & Monsters

INGREDIENTS:

Bananas

Cream cheese

Honey

Yogurt

Coconut

Food colouring - beet juice, turmeric, pomegranate (optional)

Strawberries, raspberries or blackberries

Apple

Fun bits: Choose 3 or four to make up to 1 cup

raisins or dried cranberries,

seeds – pumpkin, sunflower, hemp hearts,

nuts -walnuts, pecans, almonds or peanuts

chocolate chips, M&M’s, sprinkles

January 14: Power Snowmen

INGREDIENTS:

· Quick oats or Whole oats

· Peanut Butter or Wow Butter

· honey or maple syrup

· raisins or dried fruits

· chocolate chips or hemp hearts, seeds, nuts,

· Cinnamon or pumpkin spice

· vanilla

· salt

Shredded Coconut for snow

TOOLS:

· Apron

· Cutting board

· Spoons

· Cutlery knife

- medium bowl

DILLY DIP & VEGGIES

INGREDIENTS:

·       Can of white kidney beans or 1 cup of Greek yogurt or sour cream

·       1/3 cup dill pickles

·       ¼ cup extra-virgin olive oil

·       1 lemon – juice and zest

·       1 tsp garlic powder

·       Sea salt & pepper to taste

Veggies to dip: CHOOSE at least 3

Cucumber

Carrots

Peppers

Grape Tomatoes

Mushrooms

Broccoli

Cauliflower

Your Favourite Veggies

INGREDIENTS:

Protein spread - peanut butter, wow butter, almond butter, cream cheese

Fruit - Choose 3:

Bananas, apples, pears, berries, raisins,

Cinnamon (optional)

Grate Sandwiches

INGREDIENTS:

Thiings to grate: Choose at least 2

Apple, carrot, beet, cheddar cheese, cucumber

Rice Crackers - big round ones or square ones

(Bread or crackers are options too)

· cream cheese

· peanut butter

- Garnishes - CHOOSE 1 small and 1 larger to cut

Small: raisins, pumpkin seeds, blue berries

Larger: Cucumber, banana, berries

cinnamon

Fun bits: coconut, hemp hearts, choc chips (optional)

INGREDIENTS:

2 bananas

· 2 tablespoons sticky spread

Choose from:

· Honey

· Yogurt

· Nut butter

· Chocolate hazelnut spread

1/2 cup crunchy toppings,

Choose from:

Apple chips

Cereal like rice crisps or flakes

Nuts-peanuts, almonds flakes

Seeds - pumpkin, sunflower, chia

Shredded Coconut

Hemp hearts

Chocolate chips

February 1: Banana Dogs

INGREDIENTS:

hot dog bun, long bun or slices of bread

banana

sticky spread - peanut butter, hazelnut butter, cream cheese, jam

Toppings;

CHOOSE 1 or 2: Strawberries, clementines, grapes, raspberries, blackberries

Sprinkles: Hemp hearts, coconut, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, chopped nuts (eg. peanuts, almonds), raisins
