Tasty Tacos

INGREDIENTS:

Taco shells - hard shells or soft tortillas

Lettuce (Romaine or Iceberg)

Roma tomato or grape tomatoes

 onion 

Garlic or garlic powder

 2  tbsp fresh cilantro (optional)

Avocado

1 can black beans

Other Protein: Chicken, ground beef -optional

Cheddar cheese

1 tsp Cumin

¼ tsp Chile powder

½ tsp Garlic powder

½ tsp salt

1 lime or lemon

Frying pan

Sugar COOKIES

INGREDIENTS:

★    1 cup butter room temperature

★    1 cup granulated sugar

★    2 tsp vanilla extract

★    1 egg

★    3 cups flour

★    2 tsp baking powder

Decorations - sprinkles, candy, raisins

Icing sugar

milk

Cocoa powder (optional)

Food colouring (optional)

TOOLS:

Apron

2 small bowls

2 medium bowls

1 cutting board

Measuring cups

Measuring spoons

Spoons, cutlery knife

Plastic wrap (optional)

Parchment paper

Rolling pin or smooth can or bottle

Cookie Cutters or plastic cup

Baking sheet

Oven * ADULT SUPERVISION

Oven mitts

Small plastic bag - ziplock

Scissors

Ingredients:

Fat:

butter or coconut oil

Sweetener:

brown sugar, white sugar or honey

Protein:

2 eggs or 1 can of black beans

DRY INGREDIENTS:

Carbohydrates:

flour or oatmeal

Flavourings:

vanilla *  (add with liquids)

cocoa powder

salt

Leavening agent:

baking powder

Icing: Traditional butter cream = butter, icing sugar, cocoa powder, milk

Alternative icing: Nut butter (peanut butter or wowbutter) & chocolate spread (e.g. Nutella)

Fun bits - Hemp hearts, coconut flakes, nuts or seeds, choc chips, sprinkles
