Wouldn’t it be nice to have the kids help prepare dinner? Family meals that are easy and great to customize to your family's tastes. Perfect to cook together with the kids, or let them take the lead and be the head cook. Develops confidence, builds communication and good kitchen skills.

This class teaches essential kitchen skills with easy meal preparation with the added benefit of you having a night off from cooking since dinner will be ready for the whole family! Great for COOKSMART Kids, teens or adults who have some kitchen experience but want to learn more about nutrition, and improve their cooking knowledge to be able to make more recipes.

 Younger COOKSMART Kids should do this with assistance from an adult.  Also a good opportunity for siblings who have done some COOKSMART classes, to work together to make dinner.

In this LIVE Interactive Online Cooking class, your child will be engaged in a unique, creative meal prep activity to build their kitchen confidence. All online classes are offered via Zoom.

July 7 - Black bean Brain Burgers (vegetarian optional)
July 14 - Flatbread Pizza
July 21 - Zesty Pasta Salad
July 27 - Fajitas

Parents are required to supervise and support their child(ren) during all online classes as necessary. All recipes will use common ingredients, with lots of substitutions to accommodate what is available. An email with the zoom link and ingredients will be sent out prior to the class.
