Hands-ON Food Literacy Field Trip Opportunity for Grades JK-8

The spring is a dynamic time of year, as we want to bring our young people together to learn all about their food. A field trip for students from grades JK -6 that will be a great hands-on experience about food literacy and healthy eating.

Dates available for School Groups for On-Site Field Trip

We can bring the circus to you! Have a gym and outdoor space, garden to get ready for community growing? Ask us for details to book for your school. LImtied dates available so book now!

SAMPLE SCHEDULE:

9:45am Arrival to Small Arms Inspection Building - 1352 Lakeshore Road E, Mississauga

10am introductory welcome

10:15- 1:30pm Workshops – 40 minutes x 3 + workshops per class

  • SNACK - Prepaed by students included as 1 workshop

Lunch – students eat their own bag lunch

1:40-2:00pm Wrap up and final summary of what was learned

2:15pm students return to school  

** At your school we work with your timetable to deliver workshops for all your students.
