POSITIVE FOOD ENVIRONMENT for students, parents or teachers

Learn the language necessary to create a positive food environment for your young minds, and avoid inadvertently creating shame and guilt because of what’s in the lunch box. This presentation from our nutritionists will make it simple for everyone to feel good about the food they are eating, and understand why its important.

IN SCHOOL WORKSHOPS

Hands-on workshops teaching healthy eating curriculum, math, science and more using nutrition, cooking basics, kitchen safety and clean up skills. Fruit & Vegetable- based activities to create a nutritious snack they prepare themselves.

French speaking instructor and resources available
In your classroom for up to 24 students

We offer single sessions to introduce simple methods and new foods, and multi-sessions where the students build kitchen confidence by developing their cooking skills. We bring the tools, food, and instructor.

5 -10 weeks for 60 minutes workshops for your students to work on the COOKSMART Kitchen Skills.

COOKSMART Kids for SK-Gr 3 to learn to make healthy snacks with basic skills (Level 1 & 2)
Beyond the Basics for Gr 3-8 to create simple meals using heat and more advanced skills (Level 3 & 4)
We also offer a LUNCH program!
Lunch- ABLES for students to make their own lunch! Wonderful Lunch and Learn
